I don’t know about you, but we tend to entertain much more when the weather gets nicer. With Mother’s Day coming this weekend, I’m starting to think about the tablescape. Hopefully the spring weather holds, and we can use our new patio dining set on Sunday (purchased from Wal-Mart).
I recently shared some of my favorite tips for creating tablescapes with Wayfair, along with several other talented bloggers. Make sure to take a look and check out some of the fantastic ideas from some very talented ladies.
Mother’s Day Brunch
This was a quick and easy table setting on our deck for last year’s Mother’s Day. The menu included some of my favorite recipes, including my grandma’s blueberry coffeecake.
Summer Dining Room
The pretty sunflowers take center stage in this yellow & blue tablescape. You’ll start to see a theme of lots of yellow for spring!
Al Fresco Dining
After we painted the deck, house and railings last year, I set the patio table for a summer party (including margaritas!).
4th of July
I had so much fun decking out the dining room last year for the 4th of July. Turning the old tennis balls into bowl filler is still one of my favorite, easy DIYs. The cobalt blue plates from Tuesday Morning frequently appear during the summer season too.
The pollen is gone and I’m looking forward to spending time outside this month (before the brutal Georgia heat arrives). Are you hosting Mother’s Day or planning for a Memorial Day? Any other summer entertaining plans?
