Hi all! Welcome to Week 5 of the One Room Challenge! Make sure to check out all the great progress at OneRoomChallenge.com. This week, I have a very quick update. There is only one week left until the reveal and I still have a ton to do. However, the good news is that it will be done!

The wonderful news is that the floors are being installed Saturday! That was the biggest question mark – without the floors, I really can’t finish the room. We also hung the lights, but I am going to need some cord covers so that’s been added to the to-do list.
I also started working on the wall decor, and all of that should go up this weekend. This is from an old calendar I’ve been holding onto and am finally using some of the images.
One challenge from last week also was addressed in the form of a new lamp from Target. Gah, I love this lamp.

- Cover/adjust light cords
- Touch up walls/paint
- Set-up wireless lights
- Finish floors/rug
- Hang wall art
- Organize/style
I’ve been obsessed with plug-in sconces lately…I love those gold ones you used. This is going to look beautiful! Best of luck with the last week of ORC!
Thank you Kristin! They turned out amazing once I used some cord covers. Such a great way to add light to a room – I really didn’t want to add table lamps for fear of it looking too cluttered and the low ceilings are a challenge.
