Welcome back to the One Room Challenge! It’s week 3, which is always the week I struggle with the most. Before I share my updates, make sure to visit the One Room Challenge website and check out all the featured and guest bloggers.

Room Progress
So… I admit, not a lot to see in the actual room. We’re making progress, but it’s a little slow. I’d hoped to share the lights this week, but the weekend got away from us. The TV stand and a small table are primed, but not yet painted (though I’m writing this on Tuesday, so they could be painted by today). I decided to paint the TV stand black to match the display cabinet rather than green. I didn’t want too many finishes in the room, but still plan to feature sage green as an accent color. Which leads me to…

Accessories
While I didn’t do a ton in the actual room, I did do some online shopping 🙂 I’m still waiting for most of this to arrive, but here’s what I purchased so far:
Ottoman Pouf
Since my husband works from home, our dog often chills in his office. If you follow me on Instagram, you know Bogey’s favorite spot is one of the poufs in the living room. So, of course, we had to get one for the office as well (since it’s upstairs). I loved this black and white one from the Target Opal House line.
Baskets & Bins
For my husband’s job, he keeps quite a few product sheets and samples. I purchased two green magazine holders and boxes from the Target Hearth & Hand line, along with a cute pencil holder for the desk.
Since this is multi-purpose room, we also need some extra storage for things like workout gear and dog toys. While the Opal House line is a little too much color for my house, I did find some neutral items I love (like the pouf). I purchased this taller basket for workout gear and may still buy another one or two.
What’s Left
Lots still to do! This weekend, I need to finish painting everything (trim & furniture) and hang the lights. The flooring guy is coming Saturday morning to measure so hoping to get that scheduled ASAP. I think we’ll make it, but it’ll be down to the wire!
