After updating the living room and mantle, I turned my attention to the dining room to “fallify” the table setting. We sit at the table almost every night for dinner so this is more of an everyday style rather than something for a dinner party. I also keep the table setting nice and low. Otherwise, it just ends up being moved so we can see the TV. First world problems.
Place Setting
Using my favorite plaid table runner, I added my everyday China. The navy napkins are from World Market, and the cute napkins rings are from Target Dollar Spot. I continued the color scheme of navy and copper from the living room here.
Centerpiece
For the centerpiece, I used a dough bowl and filled it with three amber candle holders from Michael’s, plus some of the painted pine cones. A few wine corks and acorns, plus some wood burgundy flowers (also making an appearance in my Rustic Tiered Tray), and we are good to go.
My outdoor mums haven’t bloomed yet, so I picked up some burgundy mums from the grocery store. For the vases, I used two jars from the Dollar Tree and spray painted those with some copper spray paint. I didn’t have vases that were quite right, and for $2, this was an easy fix.
Do you set the table for everyday?
