I’m thrilled to share my natural Thanksgiving tablescape with you today as part of a Thanksgiving blog hop. This wonderful hop is hosted by Chloe at Celebrate & Decorate. You’ll find all the links at the end of the post, so make sure to visit each one for lots of inspiration ahead of next week’s Thanksgiving dinner.
Natural Thanksgiving Tablescape
Thanksgiving is at our house this year, and since I was going to be setting the table anyways, it made sense to do it now. However, I didn’t want to use fresh greenery since there’s still a week until Thanksgiving.

Instead, I ran to Target and purchase two strands of the Hearth & Hand eucalyptus garland. I planned to upgrade some of my garland for Christmas anyway so I figured why not go ahead and use it for Thanksgiving too. Other than the garland, everything else on the table I already owned.
Place Setting
You’ll notice a few things about my tablescapes. First, I often use plain white plates. Mine are the Essential dinnerware from Crate & Barrel and I love them! I own 16 of each plate size, and eight bowls. I do mix in seasonal accent plates if I have the right ones, or use my blue glass plates.
The placemats (also from Crate & Barrel) are almost always a staple too. I love the texture and shape. I much prefer to swap out napkins and runners. For Thanksgiving, I used some copper leaf napkin rings from the Target Dollar Spot a few years’ ago. The spray-painted pinecones are one of the very first DIY projects I did for the blog.
Centerpiece
I ran the garland down the middle of the table, layering it over two table runners. The bottom runner is linen and the top one is a favorite plaid runner from Home Goods.
I used fabric pumpkins (from Target), some little amber lanterns and my milk glass candlesticks in the center.
Of course, the Pilgrims from Publix make an appearance every year.
I’m really looking forward to hosting this year. I’m handling the turkey, a few sides and the dessert. Pumpkin pie is one of my favorites and a homemade one is really not hard to make. Well worth the effort!
On the buffet, I added a second strand of garland, and added my copper Moscow mule mugs.

Jenn, your table and dining room setting are so very handsome! I am so drawn to the simplistic, modern look of what farmhouse delivers, yet I am such a traditionalist in practice, mostly because of our home’s architecture. I love so many styles! You can never go wrong with classic white dinner service, and your new garland is very nice. I just bought several eucalyptus picks for my own future arrangements. The back wall with drink service and the painted buffet are killer too. Very, very nice. Thanks for sharing your talent. Happy Thanksgiving.

Your table looks great! I love that garland, I just may have to do a Target run. I also love your placemats, they add so much texture and are perfect for showing off classic white dishes. Your buffet area looks ready to entertain, just right for some Thanksgiving company. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Love these hops!

Jenn, Your natural Thanksgiving tablescape is lovely and inviting. I like the soft tones of green and white with natural straw accents, eucalyptus, pinecones, and copper accents. I have the same tradition of using my favorite pilgrim salt and pepper shakers each year since my children were small. In fact, I have some mis-shapened ( they got too hot stored in the attic) wax pilgrims my mother used when I was a child. I can’t throw them away!
Happy Thanksgiving

This is so inviting Jenn, I just want to walk right in and make myself at home at your simple yet elegant table. I love the uncluttered look you have created, it is not only relaxing, but it is just beautiful, and I imagine your guests will linger long after dinner…I love your copper bottom wine glasses and the lovely wine sideboard. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Jenn your tablescape is lovely. I really like the simplistic natural colors. I especially love when I do not have to purchase anything new to set my themed table and you have shown that it is not only possible, it is beautiful too. Yay! Keeping your centerpiece low is also a must as we all know the pain of looking in and around a large vase of flowers, cornucopia or other large centerpiece. Your garland surrounded with small pumpkins is perfect. (I also love Target sales bins) One of thee perks of blog hopping is to see the inspiration and ideas of others and I always say if one does not find at least one new idea, they really are not looking. Have a great day hosting your dinner party….you are off to a fine start.

You are a whiz with natural tables and they always feel comfortable and well styled. I’m probably not the only one that goes a little overboard during a Target run and I hope the pumpkins are still available. I love the sparkle from the copper-based glasses, they really work in this setting. Have a great holiday!

Jenn, how I adore those copper accented glasses! Did you say where you got them? A warm, inviting tablescape for sure! I thought your garland was live, such a great find at Target. While packing up Christmas last year I decided some of my garlands and wreaths were looking pretty sad. I spruced up some, pitched others. Splurging on a few boxwood items to replenish.

I enjoyed seeing your table. I love how you incorporated the eucalyptus with the little pumpkins and candle holders. The placemats look perfect with your dishes on your wood tabletop. I like those copper accented mules. Copper is so warm and looks beautiful with everything.
Wishing you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving Day!

Jenn, I think you and I were going in the same direction for our natural tablescapes. I love your round woven placemats. The garland and pine cones with the plaid runner is perfect for Thanksgiving. The copper bottomed stemless wine glasses adds a bit of bling – I’ve made similar ones using gold leaf, but the copper is a great look for the fall. Lovely table. Happy Thanksgiving.

Your table is beautiful and that garland is gorgeous! I don’t know how I have missed that at Target, and I see a Target run in my future! I would not have guessed those copper leaf napkin rings were and expensive. They add an elegant touch to your table, and the addition of the pinecone on the plates repeats the natural elements. Thank you for sharing your talents in another hop1

Hi Jenn! I saw that garland at Target and nearly picked it up myself – I love what you did with it! I especially love how your mini bar ties right in with the copper and greenery. Beautiful job and so many accents to be reused in the future – I can’t wait to see. Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi Jenn! Your natural tablescape is casual elegance. I just love the copper hued drinking glasses and napkin rings. The placemats and pinecones add nice texture, and the milk glass candlesticks and butter dish provide a touch of vintage charm. Nice job! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
