Fall is here! Kinda? Because it’s still 90+ degrees here in Georgia. But, even though the temps aren’t cooperating, I’m excited to bring you a Fall Tablescape blog hop with tons of inspiration. Make sure to check out all the links at the end of the post.
Moody Blue Fall Tablescape
For my tablescape, I wanted to create a moodier color palate. I used some of the same pieces as last year, but pairing the blue and white with navy, dark green and tones of purple rather than bright greens and oranges gave them a new, refreshed look.
For the centerpiece, I added some dried eucalyptus in a new blue and white jar (a recent flea market find). I took the challenge of using no pumpkins (outside of the blue and white ones) or pinecones in this tablescape, usually a staple of my fall decor.
The tablecloth is a blanket from Ikea, borrowed from the guest bedroom for the season. The plaid runner is a scarf that I either borrowed, was gifted or stolen from my mom (can’t remember which!). It was a little too short to run long ways, but turning it was a good alternative and served as a great base for the chinoiserie.
At each place setting, I mixed in the four crystal goblets that I inherited from my grandmother. She recently passed away at the age of 98 and I love being able to use pieces of hers. You can see some of her China in my Thanksgiving tablescape from two years ago, and last spring’s table setting. Her milk glass chip and dip set also inspired my love of milk glass.
To complete the setting, I added in some candlesticks and some gold votive jars – always need a little sparkle! Does it feel like fall where you are? Or is it still summer?

Just this year I have fallen in love with all things blue and white and slowly begin to create a collection. Your centerpiece is really beautiful. I like the way you used the eucalyptus.

Same! I used to think blue and white was too cottage/traditional for my taste, but I love finding new ways to mix it in and make it look more modern.

Your tablescape is really pretty! Love the blue and white dishes! They look so classic. I had briefly thought about using some blue and white dishes for my fall tablescape too! Maybe next year… 😉
