A Very Merry Master Bedroom: Christmas 2017

This is the first year I’ve added enough Christmas cheer to the master bedroom to make it worth featuring. It’s still very subtle, but I love having some festive touches in here. One thing you’ll notice is that the color scheme is very different than the rest of my Christmas decor. Shall we take a look?

Christmas Master Bedroom

On the dresser, I added a vintage Christmas tree, courtesy of my mother-in-law. While the rest of the house has white lights, it’s fun to have a little color in here.

Playing off the various colors in the tree, I added touches of blush pink and green throughout the rest of the room. A few blush ornaments sit in the basket on the dresser, along with some fake snow (covering all the rest of the crap in the basket 😉

Nightstands & Throw Pillows

The nightstands are new(ish) from the last time I shared our master bedroom. Look out for full posts on the makeovers coming in the new year. On top of the nightstands, I added a few blush mercury glass ornaments, last seen in my winter centerpiece.

I also swapped out the lamps from the spring guestroom makeover and the aqua looks great in here with the bedding.

On the bed, I added two green velvet throw pillows, and a Happy Holidays pillow cover for a little touch of gold.

Barn Door

After Christmas last year, I found this white wreath at Hobby Lobby for 60% off and knew I wanted to hang it in the master bedroom this year.

I love the contrast against the wood door, and it’s the perfect seasonal touch. I may even leave it up through winter since it’s not super Christmas-y. Right?
