Bad things happen when I have time off of work … like hitting up Ikea, Home Goods, Ross and Target on the same day.
But, I found some super cute Fall items and some great organizing pieces (and two pairs of shoes!). Target had a ton of their home stuff on sale so hit it up now if you’re looking for some great deals! I did notice that most of what was on sale in the store wasn’t as good of a deal online, so you might want to check it out in-person and I’m sure inventory differs as well.
These are the ones that I have in my house (picture below in post) – I’ve wanted to lengthen them for a while but have had trouble finding the right fabric. I bought the 84 in. originally because we hung the rods where the old vertical blinds were, but I am now wishing we hung the rods higher. Yesterday, these panels were on clearance for $8.98 per panel so now I have enough fabric to add to the ones I already own! They are still full price online though so not sure how long these will last. There were other patterns as well.
Pumpkins, pumpkins & more pumpkins!
As you’ve seen on Instagram and in Fall Home Tours, pumpkins are popular! Not sure about you, but I prefer the fake ones for now (haven’t seen many real ones yet in the South). I picked up two of these cute copper pumpkins for our dining room table and a cute pumpkin pillow in the $3 section at Target (pic below with the plaid pillows). And I can’t wait to add a few more using this tutorial from Up to Date Interiors to turn some Dollar Tree pumpkins into more table decor.
I really didn’t need anymore throw pillows, but I did want to bring some plaid into my home for fall. I have a ton of plaid in my wardrobe (seriously – everything from pants to blazers to shoes to shirts. I might have a problem), but didn’t have any incorporated into the decor. I picked up these $5 pillow covers and threw them on two old pillows I had that were stashed in the back bedroom. They look lighter in person and the colors are navy and red/rust. I can use these all the way through Christmas so well worth the $10.
I have always loved these dish towels and my plan was to use them as napkins if we ended up hosting Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, my Ikea only had one pack of the blue ones (but plenty of green if that’s in your color scheme). It worked out fine as I ended up changing my table decor using a plaid scarf I had on hand, but I still love these! I had originally thought of using them for my wedding as well, like in the picture below.
