Can you hear the distant sounds of jingle bells coming? I can, but before I switch over to all things Christmas, I wanted to share a peek at our fall living room.
You saw a few highlights when I shared ideas for using olive green decor. In addition to the olive green touches, I also added some more blue and white decor.
Fall Mantel
On the mantel, I added some blue and white candlesticks and mixed with the blue and white gourds you saw in the fall floral tablescape.

A few more faux pumpkins, milk glass and lanterns provided a touch of fall to the fireplace.
On the hearth, I added a plaid pillow (seen on the fall back porch), along with the cozy navy and neutral blanket. On the right side, a few more pumpkins because you can never have too many.
Coffee Table
I hunted for a new coffee table for several months, before finding this one from Ballard Designs (it was on clearance, so is no longer available o the website). Our living room is large and while we loved the function of the ottoman, it really is too small for the room.
The scale of this one is perfect – wide enough for both the sofa and the loveseat. I love the color too; not too dark, not too light. I like contrast in a room so the mid-tone table looks great with the lighter rug and sofas.
Other Fall Touches
I still have a long-term plan for this little corner, but in the meantime, it received a little fall love too. The baby pumpkin pillow is a Target Dollar Spot find from a few years ago.
I filled the footed milk glass dish with pine cones and an amber lantern.
On the table next to the sofa, I added a pretty blue and white coaster. We love this table from World Market (And here’s a coupon link: Save 40% on all Furniture (excludes Outdoor) USE CODE: FURNSALE). It’s perfect for a drink, and also a laptop.
I’m enjoying the fall decor for another day or two before breaking out the Christmas decor this weekend!
And just for fun, here’s what was happening in the living room while I was taking these pics. Never doubt for a second that what you see online is only part of the full picture. Most days, there are dog toys, a husband and plenty of other items scattered about!
