I rounded up a few of my favorite items for a quick Christmas wish list in case you’re still Christmas shopping. I’ve made a huge dent in my list, but still have some items to pick up this week. Hoping to get it the final few done by Saturday so then I can get on to my favorite part – wrapping the presents! A few years ago, I started a random tradition of watching Love Actually or Elf, having some egg nog and wrapping all my presents in one sitting. We don’t have a huge list we buy for so I can usually get all the wrapping done in a two-hourish period.
Below are things that I’ve had my eye on for myself or for others (or that I’ve received and loved!).
Last year, one of my besties gave me and another friend each a pillow with the longitude and latitude of our new homes. It was such (and still is!) a special gift that I love to look at each day! I’m not positive, but I think it’s from CoverLove on Etsy, but there are several on Etsy that make similar items so choose which one you like best! This a great gift for anyone who has recently bought a home, or maybe had to sell a childhood home.
These raw wood boards from West Elm are gorgeous. With someone’s name or monogram, it makes for a fabulous keepsake. And, with they style of these, they really can go in any style kitchen from modern to rustic.
Coffee Mugs:
I’m definitely of the belief that you can never have too many coffee mugs and there are so many cute options out there! I added some to my Christmas list for this year as I think it’s time to retire a few of my older mugs. World Market, my go-to for quick gifts (largely due to the fact there is one across the street from my office), always has a great selection and these Good Morning ones are adorable (and would look great in my kitchen …). And, of course, Anthropologie always has a great selection of fun mugs to choose from.
Scarves:
Not home related, but scarves are always a great go-to gift (and one of my favorites to receive!). The great thing about scarves is you can get them at all ranges of pricing and materials. And, really, they are great for any age. Target always has a great selection, and Marshall’s and TJ Maxx are solid options. I’m loving a few of these from Old Navy. If you haven’t been in an Old Navy recently, I recommend you go – they’ve really done a great job with their women’s line recently. Fashion forward without being too trendy (I still love their Pixie Pants!).
Whose left on your Christmas list to buy for?
