To wrap up my Christmas Home Tour 2016, I wanted to share a few photos of the outside and our entryway. You can see the other three rooms I shared below:
Front Porch & Mailbox
I don’t change the outside too much from year to year. I added a big wreath, purchased at Costco, and some cypress garland around the door. It’s a pretty tight porch, so there’s not a ton of room to overdo it on the garland like I might otherwise.
On the stair railings, I added pine garland, along with some more red and white striped ribbon. You can see our Camellia tree is about to bloom. It’s a little later than normal, as we’ve had a really mild and dry fall up until a few weeks ago. Look for a nighttime tour on Instagram this week so you can see the front porch all lit up!
For the mailbox, I made a big bow from the same ribbon. Normally, I use some greenery too, but I ran out of time …
Entry Way
We have a small entry way and it opens pretty quickly to the living room view, so I don’t do too much. Here’s the view towards our entry from the living room. The front door is on the left, and the door on the right is the garage entry. I hung an evergreen wreath on the back of the front door and we’ve loved having the Christmas tree smell!
The entry way is just large enough for a small table, which holds dog walking supplies. I swapped out the normal picture in this frame for last year’s Christmas card pic.
Above the table, there is a little shelf with hooks for keys and leashes. I added a framed picture above – another Dollar Tree box top!
And that wraps up our 2016 Christmas Home Tour! I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday!
