Welcome to my 4th of July mini-home tour. What started out in the living room made its way to the dining room and kitchen … Today, I’m sharing our farmhouse mantle decor. And don’t forget to enter the summer giveaway through July 5!
It’s mostly the same as when you saw it during the living room refresh, and I still love the boxwood wreath and rustic window. I added a few patriotic touches with the bunting, and USA wood letters. All of the decor is repeated from last year’s 4th of July tablescape.
The blue and white pitcher and jars received some red grocery store flowers. I love the gerbera daisies – so much impact with a few blooms.
This past Christmas, I remembered to not store the red and white star pillow covers with all of the other decor. I pulled them out to use them for the 4th of July and they are perfect for Independence Day.
In the lanterns that flank either side of the mantle, I added the wrapped fabric and twine tennis balls I used last year. The candles moved to the mercury glass holders that are on the hearth.
I loved re-using my Target dollar spot decor again this year (the bunting and wood letters). Some very simple swaps make it easy to update for one of my favorite holidays.
How do you decorate for the 4th of July? What’s your favorite Target dollar spot purchase?
